A Haiku:
Tenkiller
Man of the high seas
Basking in the sun he sings
This will be my land
He sits and waits for
What he knows will come too soon
He is ready; come
One by one they come
Standing tall they fire arms
The man stands his ground
"If you must then do
Show what this land means to you
I won't give up soon"
They fire their guns
The loud noises do no harm
Unharmed, he stands still
They start to retreat
And run as fast as the can
But they are not slick
The man did stand tall
And without taking a step
He killed them all ten
Explanation:
I used to tell myself this story all the time when I was little (not in these words but you know what I mean). There is more background for this but that's for another time. I know it's not the happiest story but it means alot to me. I hope you enjoy :-)
